2024-presentBuild features end-to-end for Bouncie, a connected-car platform drivers and fleets use to track vehicles, manage who can access them, and stay on top of maintenance. Most of my work is front-end with React, Redux, and Next.js, but I design and build the APIs, message publishing, and asynchronous jobs a feature needs when it spans the stack. I drive many of the team's architectural decisions and regularly help shape product direction and design.
- Designed and shipped user management end-to-end — a complex, permission-based system controlling who can access which vehicles — across the React/Redux front end, backend APIs, and asynchronous jobs that copy notification and geofence settings between vehicles.
- Built the Vehicle Care feature, giving fleet managers a single place to track vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Added bulk export of notification settings across vehicles, backing the long-running geofence copy with an asynchronous job to keep the UI fast and responsive.
- Currently modernizing the company’s public marketing site, Bouncie.com.
2023-2024Implement Dark Mode feature in mobile application using new styling library, ensuring seamless integration and consistent color themes throughout interface. Utilize Styled Components library to enforce uniform styling and facilitate color theming across application codebase.
